Support cutting-edge biotechnology development in autonomous systems for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), including stand-off casualty assessment, evacuation, and surgery in austere environments.
Requirements
- Experience with the design and testing of robotics and autonomous systems
- Experience with Robot Operating Systems (ROS) and robotic sensing
- Knowledge of solid modeling, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing
Responsibilities
- Support the research and development of robotic and unmanned systems across multiple operational domains and mission areas within the Department of Defense.
- Design and testing of robotics and autonomous systems
- Experience with Robot Operating Systems (ROS) and robotic sensing
- Knowledge of solid modeling, rapid prototyping, and 3D printing
Other
- Ability to collaboratively work on a team of technical specialists
- TS/SCI clearance
- Masters degree in Engineering
- Experience with medical devices or biomedical research
- Experience working with or as a member of one of the U.S. military services
- Ability to interact with clients to provide technical advice and recommendations for furthering research and development goals
- Doctorate degree in Engineering
