Mayvin is seeking to hire a Robotics Engineer for the design, development, testing, and project management of advanced unmanned robotics systems to support US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with the design and development of mechanical or electronic robotic components
- Experience with sensors, LIDAR/Radar, and navigation or object recognition systems
- Working knowledge of a programming language (C/C++, Python, ROS)
Responsibilities
- design, development, testing, and project management of advanced unmanned robotics systems
- work robotics requirements with the program team to execute initiatives
- develop, and maintain project plans
- assume day-to-day project and acquisition administration
- Understanding operational capability gaps and assisting in the development of scientific and technical solutions with end-used input
- Working with governmental, academic, or industrial partners to create and test hardware or software for robotics systems and sub-systems, or modifying existing commercial off-the-shelf products
- Interpreting technical data from laboratory testing and translating the outcomes to a non-technical and technical audience

- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
- Manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel (10-25%)
