Requirements
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix and command line
- Familiar with Robot Operating System (ROS).
- Experience with object oriented programming (Python or C++).
- Experience deploying and commissioning autonomous or complex technical systems.
- Knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Deploy robots at the customer sites and support/train customers on how to use our robots.
- Troubleshoot and debug electro-mechanical issues.
- Deliver and document the customer feedback to the Development teams whether that be product issues, complaints, or improvements.
- Test new software and hardware while at our Austin headquarters
- Contribute to improving the overall quality of our service.
- Participate in software and hardware testing
- Provide feedback to development teams
Other
- Based at one of our customer warehouse sites in Ottawa, IL.
- Occasional business trips to our headquarters in Austin, TX, with the potential for additional travel depending on future customer needs.
- Flexibility and openness to travel are important.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly explain technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage projects independently.
