At Allegion, we help keep the people you know and love safe and secure where they live, work, and visit by pioneering safety and security, and we are looking to develop and maintain processes for robots in our fabrication department.
Requirements
- Training and experience in multi-axis robots, robot maintenance, robotic programming, and PLC Ladder Logic programming required.
- Working knowledge of motor controllers preferred.
- Working knowledge of proper use of abrasive products preferred.
Responsibilities
- Program Industrial Robots
- Develop Robotic process within the fabrication department.
- Establish base line & maintain on-going measurements related to robot productivity.
- Problem solves robotic and robotic cell issues.
- Recommend, evaluate, and implement process changes.
- Participate in Engineering in installation of new robotic processes.
- Keep abreast of the latest programming techniques and recommend new processes and technology.
Other
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Working towards Robotics Technology degree or Computer Integrated Manufacturing degree preferred.
- Ability to establish priorities and effectively manage time to complete duties within specified times.
