Johnson & Johnson is looking for interns to help solve business problems and enhance their business through innovative projects in the orthopedics sector.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an accredited college/university pursuing Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum completion of undergraduate freshman year prior to internship start date.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
Responsibilities
- Work with R&D Engineers to setup design of experiments and testing environments
- Work with R&D Engineers to create and populate databases of critical R&D data
- Support and test mechanical, electrical and/or software designs
- Create summary reports using good documentation practices
- Create design control documents
- Become familiar with medical terminology, procedures, and instrumentation
- Present final project(s) to other engineers and leaders within department
Other
- A typical internship is from May/June through August
- Assignments will be located at a DePuy Synthes office in Warsaw, Indiana.
- Attend engineering and cross-functional team meetings (in-person and online)
- Promote teamwork during internal and external interactions
- Legally authorized to work in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H1-B, F-1)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects while delivering results
