Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an accredited college/university pursuing Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum completion of undergraduate freshman year prior to internship start date
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Ability to balance multiple projects while delivering results
- Self-starter who can work independently and contribute to team goals
- Leadership/participation with campus programs and/or service programs is desired
Responsibilities
- Work with R&D Engineers to setup design of experiments and testing environments
- Work with R&D Engineers to create and populate databases of critical R&D data
- Attend engineering and cross-functional team meetings (in-person and online)
- Create summary reports using good documentation practices
- Create design control documents
- Support and test mechanical, electrical and/or software designs
- Become familiar with medical terminology, procedures, and instrumentation
