Yondu is creating the robotic workforce of the future starting with logistics automation. We're deploying humanoid robots in the first flexible, drop-in picking automation solution designed for 3PLs. We’re creating advanced teleoperation systems to control and monitor robots as well as developing the systems to run them autonomously.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for robotics or embedded systems development
- Understanding of electromechanical systems, including motors, motor controllers, and actuators
- Familiarity with prototyping methods, including 3D printing
- Experience in behavior cloning and reinforcement learning on robot platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop low-latency, user friendly teleoperation systems that allow for smooth, functional control.
- Test robotic applications using ROS on Ubuntu Linux and NVIDIA Jetson platforms
- Improve existing mechanical systems through thoughtful and ergonomic design with enhanced actuation
- Work on AI solutions for robot learning problems and autonomous work within warehouse applications.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate hardware, software, and control systems
