Yondu is creating the robotic workforce of the future starting with logistics automation by deploying humanoid robots in a flexible, drop-in picking automation solution designed for 3PLs. They are building robot foundation models to enable off-the-shelf robots to perform tasks autonomously and developing an in-house teleoperation system to train these models.

Requirements

• Understanding of electromechanical systems, including motors, motor controllers, and actuators
• Familiarity with prototyping methods, including 3D printing
• Experience in behavior cloning and reinforcement learning on robot platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-latency, user friendly teleoperation systems that allow for smooth, functional control.
• Test robotic applications using ROS on Ubuntu Linux and NVIDIA Jetson platforms
• Improve existing mechanical systems through thoughtful and ergonomic design with enhanced actuation
• Work on AI solutions for robot learning problems and autonomous work within warehouse applications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate hardware, software, and control systems
