SMX is seeking a Robotic Operations Center (ROC) to support the Government customer at Mayport Naval Station, Florida, with the goal of providing accurate and timely real-time information and corporate knowledge to the watch.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of airspace de-confliction and Air Tasking Order (ATO) process
- Working knowledge of water space management
- Knowledge of Minotaur Family of Systems
- Knowledge of the six-step Navy planning process (NPP) or equivalent
- Experience with Minotaur Family of Systems
- Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Jabber Chat, MAKO Chat / Chat Surfer, All Partner Access Network (APAN), Partner Nation Network (PNN), IANTN, NIPRNET and SIPRNET
- Experience with Global Command and Control Systems Joint (GCCS-J)
Responsibilities
- The Robotic Operations Center (ROC) provides accurate and timely real time information on demand while providing corporate knowledge and continuity to the watch.
- Provide continuity to the Battle Watch Captain while ensuring the proper transfer of information, authority, and operational control for Fourth Fleet Officer and Enlisted members.
- Manage the operation of collaborative tools within the Fleet Command Center (FCC) to include: Minotaur Family of Systems, Unmanned vehicle mission portals, Global Command and Control Systems Joint (GCCS-J), Jabber Chat, MAKO Chat / Chat Surfer, All Partner Access Network (APAN), Partner Nation Network (PNN), IANTN, NIPRNET and SIPRNET
- Track the readiness of forces assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command and U.S. 4th Fleet (NAVSOUTH/C4F) and maintain situational understanding of operations in execution and future operations.
- Synchronize, coordinate, de-conflict, and/or integrate maritime operations with other USSOUTHCOM component commanders and Fleet Commanders.
- Supervise the establishment, maintenance operation and administration of the maritime Common Operational Picture (COP) utilizing all available collaborative tools.
- Track Commanders Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) and immediately report relevant information to BWC, COPS Director, MOC director and Commander.

- Fleet level watch experience or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and make decisions in ambiguous conditions
