The Robotics department needs a professional to provide financial management and oversight of university and sponsor funds for an assigned group of faculty members.
Requirements
- Familiarity with financial project tracking and project management tools and software
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all administrative aspects of proposal submission (pre-award)
- Provide financial management, oversight, reporting, and recommendations on Research funded portfolios (post-award)
- Manage the pre-award administrative components of proposal submission and manage the post-award process including financial management on research funded portfolios
- Collaborate on non-supervision human resource administrative tasks related to post-award project management
- Provide general administrative support for an assigned group of faculty as needed
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 + years of demonstrated experience in research administration, project management, customer service, or accounting
- 1 + year of experience working with tight regulations and compliance requirements
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work proactively to anticipate challenges and provide thoughtful customer service
- Ability to exercise discretion and work independently
- Ability to identify and resolve problems with an eye to minimizing delays
- Sign-on bonus of up to $1500 for eligible candidates
