Requirements
- Proven track record in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions for robotics, including system integration and real-world implementation.
- Strong technical background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data engineering, with hands-on experience in system integration and deployment.
- Deep understanding of AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, GPU-based training, simulation environments, and digital asset management.
- Experience with real-time systems and deploying AI technologies in dynamic, real-world environments such as manufacturing, robotics, or autonomous systems.
- Hands-on expertise with simulation platforms including Isaac Sim/Lab, MoveIt , interoperation with ROS for robotics and AI training and validation.
- Familiarity with edge computing and embedded AI, especially in constrained or latency-sensitive environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity and safety standards relevant to AI-enabled robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of AI systems engineers focused on integrating, testing, and optimizing robotic AI technologies across hardware and software domains.
- Drive the development and deployment of scalable infrastructure for data acquisition, GPU-based training pipelines, simulation environments, and digital asset curation.
- Oversee system-level prototyping efforts, ensuring that novel AI and robotics technologies are securely and reliably integrated into real-world manufacturing environments.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, model training, and simulation workflows to ensure high performance, reproducibility, and robustness.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to AI system integration, including latency, scalability, and reliability in dynamic production settings.
- Develop talent of highly specialized team members to extend their competence beyond initial subject matter knowledge to learn from and support their team.
- Communicate technical strategy and progress to executive leadership, translating complex engineering challenges into actionable insights and roadmaps.
