Requirements
- FAA Part 107 UAS remote pilot certificate (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable lifting and moving up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, maintain, and optimize robotic systems and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in robots.
- Operate production tools and equipment, including soldering irons, CNC machines, rotary tools, and multimeters.
- Test and validate robotic functionality and quality before deployment.
- Fly drones post-assembly for quality assurance (FAA Part 107 certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment).
- Support robotic and drone service operations both in Charlotte and in the field.
- Monitor and improve assembly, QA/QC, and repair processes, making recommendations for efficiency improvements.
