Requirements
- Utilize quality engineering techniques.
- Develop new methods of dimensional inspection objectives.
- Review engineering designs and specifications for translation into inspection verification methods.
- Develop and apply new and advanced methods to meet new or unusual requirements.
- Review manufacturing process planning to ensure compliance with drawing, specification and contractual requirements.
- Perform failure mode effect analysis of product design disclosure documents and specifications, utilizing inspection analysis tools and six sigma principles.
- Determine gage and instrumentation adequacy.
Responsibilities
- Provide innovative, thorough and practical solutions to a wide range of technical challenges, involving the conventional utilization of quality engineering techniques.
- Conceive and plan projects involving the development of new methods of dimensional inspection objectives.
- Review engineering designs and specifications for translation into inspection verification methods.
- Develop and apply new and advanced methods to meet new or unusual requirements.
- Review manufacturing process planning to ensure compliance with drawing, specification and contractual requirements.

Other
- Minimal travel (>10%).
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Aerospace Engineering and minimum 4 years of prior Quality/Manufacturing experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Detail-oriented, experienced in conducting root cause analysis and recommending data-driven corrective actions.
