Requirements
- Working knowledge of economic and financial concepts and their application to commercial real estate and investment management
- Excellent numeracy and computer skills including MS Excel
- Basic knowledge of Argus would be beneficial but not necessary
- Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate, investment management, private equity, finance, etc
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial real estate, financial, economic, and statistical concepts
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize as required to meet expectations
- Excellent analytical (financial and accounting) skills
Responsibilities
- Perform financial analyses, including Argus valuation models and Excel-based underwriting pro-formas, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses
- Review and analyze potential leases and their financial impact on an investment
- Shadow analysts in development of annual operating budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
- Provide analytical support to colleagues in the areas of fund operations and asset management
- Analyze and interpret macroeconomic and real estate market data
- Conduct in-depth research on a specialized topic through qualitative and quantitative analysis of relevant information and produce a final report highlighting key insights
- Assist with client reporting and presentation preparation, including the presentation of investment memoranda to the firm’s Investment Committee

- Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program from a leading school in Business/Commerce, Economics, or Real Estate
- Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and deliver results
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize as required to meet expectations
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
