Acuren is seeking a RT/CR Level II Technician to ensure the quality and integrity of industrial assets in various environments, including Corn/Agricultural, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Gas Plants, Refineries, and Pharmaceuticals.
Requirements
- Certified Level II RT/CR
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Experience with NDT methods of inspection
- Ability to interpret results of inspections
- Familiarity with applicable specifications or standards
- Experience with report writing
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks
- Ability to instruct and supervise others
- Ability to perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
