GlobalFoundries is looking to optimize its product portfolio and lifecycle management within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to improve new product launch (NPL) and end-of-life (EOL) success rates and overall process maturity.
Requirements
- Product lifecycle/portfolio management
- Overseeing NPI/EOL processes and planning cycles
- Knowledge of S&OP/ IBP, demand planning and supply planning
- ERP system (Oracle, SAP)
- Skills – knowledge and experience with S&OP process, product and portfolio management, demand planning, and supply planning functions/processes.
- Experience in demand planning, master production scheduling or supply planning
- Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Marketing, Sales Demand Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Participate in and lead the design, development, and implementation of the product life cycle and portfolio within the S&OP process
- Capture and maintain key assumptions impacting forecast, product plans, operations, project scope and launch timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on best practices to ensure alignment on product launches (NPL), end-of-life (EOL), customer trends, product health and marketing analytics
- Coordinate product exit plans based on sales and marketing intelligence, sales performance and sell-in pace
- Recommend changes to existing processes to further S&OP process maturity and performance excellence, with the goal of improving the NPL and EOL success rates
- Work with cross-functional partners on product road maps and identify any risk within the supply chain
- Organize product life cycle by outlining the milestones, processes, and timelines by working with multiple cross functional partners
Other
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field (minimum)
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and presenting information to various key stakeholders
- Self-starter and tolerates ambiguity with a desire to drive teams to productive solutions
- Self-motivated and welcomes responsibility and takes the initiative to solve problems
- Travel - Up to 20%
