PFNA's 43 manufacturing locations need to ensure their Digital Quality System is deployed and enhanced to meet newer FDA standards defined by the Quality and Food Safety (QFS) business team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in implementing or managing digital quality systems (e.g., SAP QM, TrackWise, or other QMS platforms).
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and manufacturing quality standards.
- Proficiency in data analysis, KPI development, and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with process mapping, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and audit management.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Strong background in Quality & Food Safety (QFS), regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP), and manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- The Digital Quality System – IT Manager partners closely with the QFS business team to ensure digital systems align with both regulatory and operational needs across PFNA’s manufacturing network.
- This includes developing and executing quality system upgrade strategies that comply with evolving FDA and industry standards.
- A key focus of the role is selecting and integrating digital tools to replace manual processes, particularly in areas such as product specification mapping and data collection.
- The manager leads sector-wide digital quality system implementations and system integrations, enabling seamless master data alignment and real-time data flow from online equipment.
- Additionally, the role drives continuous improvement initiatives informed by process and product quality feedback from manufacturing sites.
- The manager defines and monitors key quality KPIs across all PFNA facilities, using insights from incidents and trends to optimize performance.
- A critical part of the role involves designing and deploying real-time dashboards at both the site and national levels, enabling proactive quality management and enhanced decision-making across the organization

- 6-8 years of experience in quality systems management within a manufacturing environment (food and beverage industry preferred).
