Apple is looking for an engineer to enhance the web browsing experience in the education and enterprise space by developing configuration and management features for Safari, leveraging WebKit and Apple's frameworks to expand browser capabilities and device management across Apple platforms.
Requirements
- Detailed understanding of at least one of: Swift, Objective-C, C++, or C
- Strong object-oriented programming experience
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
- Familiarity with development on iOS and macOS
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management and Declarative Device Management
- Familiarity with Python
Responsibilities
- build features that unlock the superpowers of Safari for students and employees around the world
- build new features for our education and enterprise customers
- bringing configuration capabilities to new and existing Safari features on platforms like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS
- expanding the features manageable via MDM and DDM platforms in a modern, scalable, and reliable way
- involved from beginning to end - brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback
- work cross-functionally with partner teams to deliver innovative solutions while protecting end-user privacy and security
- enable the use of the latest Apple devices and technology in schools, businesses, and governments around the world
Other
- BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred, or equivalent.
