Apple is looking to drive forward the web browsing experience in the education and enterprise space through configuration and management features for Safari

Requirements

  • Familiarity with development on iOS and macOS
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management and Declarative Device Management
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Detailed understanding of at least one of: Swift, Objective-C, C++, or C
  • Strong object-oriented programming experience
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies

Responsibilities

  • build features that unlock the superpowers of Safari for students and employees around the world
  • build new features for our education and enterprise customers while also bringing configuration capabilities to new and existing Safari features on platforms like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS
  • expanding the features manageable via MDM and DDM platforms in a modern, scalable, and reliable way
  • involved from beginning to end - brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback
  • work cross-functionally with partner teams to deliver innovative solutions while protecting end-user privacy and security
  • enable the use of the latest Apple devices and technology in schools, businesses, and governments around the world
  • build features that enhance what’s capable in a web browser through Safari Extensions and Mobile Device Management

Other

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a highly synergistic environment focused on learning
