Apple is looking to drive forward the web browsing experience in the education and enterprise space through configuration and management features for Safari
Requirements
- Familiarity with development on iOS and macOS
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management and Declarative Device Management
- Familiarity with Python
- Detailed understanding of at least one of: Swift, Objective-C, C++, or C
- Strong object-oriented programming experience
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
Responsibilities
- build features that unlock the superpowers of Safari for students and employees around the world
- build new features for our education and enterprise customers while also bringing configuration capabilities to new and existing Safari features on platforms like iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS
- expanding the features manageable via MDM and DDM platforms in a modern, scalable, and reliable way
- involved from beginning to end - brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback
- work cross-functionally with partner teams to deliver innovative solutions while protecting end-user privacy and security
- enable the use of the latest Apple devices and technology in schools, businesses, and governments around the world
- build features that enhance what’s capable in a web browser through Safari Extensions and Mobile Device Management
Other
- BS in Computer Science or related field, preferred, or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
