Requirements
- Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, e-mail software
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage his / her time and resources
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building ability
- Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive attitude
- Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) pursuing related degree
Responsibilities
- Assist with development, implementation, and updating of required written safety, health, and environmental programs and plans
- Coordinate, plan, and facilitate safety, health, and environmental training
- Conduct risk assessments, maintain documentation, and review as needed
- Help develop controls for identified hazards and coordinate the implementation of controls from result of hazard analysis
- Maintain safety documentation including written programs, SDS’s, audits, training, incidents, and many others
- Review incident investigation reports and participate in the incident investigation process as needed
- Perform analysis and trending of safety statistics and metrics to proactively monitor safety performance

- Must be willing to travel to multiple job sites
