The Swope Family of Dealerships is looking to hire a Salaried Automotive Sales Specialist to guide guests through the vehicle purchase process, ensuring a positive customer experience and driving sales.
Requirements
- Strong telephone and technology skills. Including; computers, smart phones, and social media.
- Willingness to follow assigned word tracks & techniques as demonstrated in both training sessions and guest interaction.
Responsibilities
- Describe all optional equipment and accessories available for guests purchase, explain in detail product features and benefits.
- Use outstanding communication and listening skills to help negotiate terms that ensure payment options meet your guests’ lifestyles, budgets, and expectations; close the deal.
- Prepare sold vehicles for guest delivery prior to guest arrival.
- Deliver vehicles to guests, ensuring that they understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Help transition guest to our Service departments to support their ownership experience, selling the quality and convenience of service repairs and/or aftermarket parts and accessories available in the service departments.
- Assist in maintenance of inventory display and organization of all keys to keep the experience as smooth as possible.
- Complete training with manufacturer to become a Certified Product Specialist.
Other
- Interact with guests to help guide them in their vehicle purchase, asking questions and listening carefully.
- Proactively consult and guide guests to the appropriate next step in the sales process, i.e. vehicle appraisal process, test drives, finance applications and service.
- Deliver a minimum number of vehicles each month.
- Provide an exceptional experience, driving loyalty by regularly following up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional guest experience.
- Drive to set targeted personal income goals consistent with company standards of productivity.
- Proven ability to exceed established automotive sales and guest service goals.
- Excellent communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- The willingness to follow up, and follow-up again, with guests.
- Strong desire and aptitude for continuing growth opportunities.
- Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
- All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing to include a background check and drug screen.
