Denny Menholt University Honda needs to hire Product Specialists / Sales Consultants to meet the demands of their busy sales team and to expand their customer base.
Requirements
- Computer proficient
- Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
Responsibilities
- Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer databases
- Visually inspect inventory and maintain knowledge of current inventory
- Complete all paperwork and arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle
Other
- Greet customers upon arrival and perform needs analysis including make, model, and features of desired vehicle
- Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle
- Work with Sales Managers and F&I Managers to negotiate sale and requirements for financing or vehicle lease
- Deliver and familiarize customer with vehicle
- Prospect for new customers
- Attend and complete required training and department meetings
- Prior automotive sales experience is not required.

- Exhibit excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to prospect and sell in a team-oriented environment
- High School diploma or equivalent required, some college a plus!
- Maintain professional business attire and appearance
- Ability to work retail days and hours of dealership
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and MVR
