Acme Manufacturing is looking to grow sales for two of its brands, Coyote Landscape Products and GarageWorks Steel, by identifying new markets and retaining existing customers.
Requirements
- Experience with business-to-business sales.
- Proven track record of growing sales.
- Strong computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience using an ERP System.
- Garage Door, Landscaping and/or metal sales experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analyzing sales, operational records, reports to project sales, determine profitability, and identify new markets.
- Providing customers with accurate shipping information, updates, and notice if logistical issues arise.
- Identifying and analyzing customer preferences to properly direct sales.
- Consulting with potential customers to address their needs.
- Working with current customers to retain their business and address any new needs they might have.
- Collaborating with the National Sales Manager and executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
- Working with accounting department to help collect past due amounts as needed.
Other
- At least 2 years of proven success in sales, preferably in commodities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and participate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Marketing Teams.
- Willingness to prospect, attend trade shows, and grow business.
- The willingness to understand and educate customers on products.
