Accenture is seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive client engagement, pipeline development and conversion, client demos and deep-dives, solutioning and all aspects of sales origination and management to bring Knowledge and adjacent solutions to clients as they seek to adopt and scale Agentic AI, new AI-enabled digital data mesh and semantic knowledge layer capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of software/asset sales; proven track record of exceeding sales metrics and success in closing complex, high-value sales opportunities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product domain, industry, or ecosystem.
- Minimum 3 years experience with tech modernization for Fortune 2000/large enterprises.
- Minimum 3 years experience developing and maintaining relationships with C-suite executives.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience designing/executing go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
- Advanced negotiation skills to navigate complex financial and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Own the sales plan and meet and exceed sales targets for APP’s Knowledge Layer asset, working across industries (initial focus on Life Sciences, Banking/Finance, Telecom, Consumer Goods) to sell asset-based solutions, cloud services and professional services.
- Learn Data & AI Architecture and AI-enabled digital core fundamentals to originate and engage with clients in this rapidly growing and emerging-tech space, including GraphRAG, generative AI, semantic knowledge graphs, mesh architecture and agentic AI integration.
- Plan Go-to-Market Strategy and gain buy-in and align accountability with internal and channel stakeholders.
- Proactively manage sales campaigns, leveraging domain expertise to close opportunities and grow profitable revenue. Assure activities to drive top of funnel are sufficient to drive conversion and close to meet/exceed sales plan.
- Cultivate relationships with C-level, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to position software as key to unlocking value and enable transformation.
- Build trust with prospects and clients, identify challenges, and offer tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Pre-Sales, Product Management, Professional Services and Engineering teams to ensure client needs are met and sales origination and pursuits are successful, and feedback loops are engaged/active – culture of continuous improvement on product value.

- Travel may be required for this role, ranging from 25% to 75%, depending on client needs and business priorities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
