JCB Inc is looking to grow its sales in the North American agriculture and construction market, specifically for Heavy Line and Municipal products. Requirements

  • Experience working with JCB’s agricultural heavy line product range, including fastrac and wheel loading shovel products
  • Experience of using agriculture technology software and systems, including JCB Service Master and JCB GPS
  • Experience with business operations and customer relations software, such as SAP and Lotus Notes
  • Experience of managing fastrac and large excavator product sales to the international agriculture and construction equipment market
  • International experience of heavy line product testing, demonstrations and installations
  • Experience of new business development and maintaining relationships with key clients within the international agricultural and construction industry

Responsibilities

  • Forecasting, tracking and reporting territory fastrac and large excavator sales activities to the leadership team
  • Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of JCB agricultural and construction products to facilitate sales efforts with clients and undertaking competitive product evaluations
  • Reviewing the Heavy Line target market opportunities and providing feeds into JCB’s dealer pipeline
  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures and policies for Sales Engineers, ensuring consistent and effective support to the dealer network
  • Reviewing operational records and reports to project sales, determine profitability and assist JCB in achieving its goals
  • Managing, mentoring, training and developing Sales Engineers on product marketing initiatives and procedures to maximize their sales potential and support their growth
  • Identifying business development opportunities and developing strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability

Other

  • Directing and managing the activities of a team of Sales Engineers in relation to production, pricing, sales and distribution of JCB’s products
  • Developing and implementing JCB’s business strategy for product sales to the North American agriculture and construction market
  • Leading the development of the JCB North American sales growth in Heavy Line and Municipal products
  • Setting and achieving quarterly and annual sales targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Identifying, building and developing strategic and profitable relationships within JCB’s dealer networks
