Requirements
- Strong understanding of the physical security industry
- Experience in multi-brand corporate structures with respects to sales engineering models
- Experience in the channel partner business models
- Experience in resource allocation and capacity planning for sales engineering teams including commission structure planning
- Experience in high growth and rapid change management environments
- 7+ years experience in one of the following: Sales, Engineering, Video or Surveillance
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and refine critical processes related to the sales engineering organization
- Report on key metrics related to Sales Engineer (SE) field activities related to opportunities, partner and end customer engagements
- Collaborate with key business units such as marketing, training, tech support, engineering, product teams, sales and others to foster business synergies
- Develop, monitor and report on KPIs for SEs
- Mentor, coach and develop sales engineers
- Provide ongoing training and enablement for the sales engineers on the VS&A product portfolio as well and upskilling in key technology related areas
Other
- Travel: 50+% domestic travel by car and air. Occasional international travel may be required
- Bachelor's Degree is highly desired
- 3+ years of Leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting to executive leadership levels
- Passion and proven track record for problem solving business challenges
