Global Payments aims to expand its Point of Sale solutions to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses by closing sales through a fast sales cycle, thereby enabling these businesses to grow with confidence using Global Payments' technology.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on-the-spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and running Genius Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals.
- Explaining the value proposition and demonstrating the cloud-based Point of Sale solution.
- Upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services.
- Maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
- Maintaining existing/prospective client records in the CRM system (Atlas), including call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information.
- Achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first-time appointments to secure quota.
- Continuously building and developing knowledge of the current product/service portfolio and changes in the financial technology industry.

- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license is necessary due to regular driving to visit client sites.
- Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near the 60th day of employment.
- Live in the area relative to the job posting location.
- Ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time.
