Sonsio's risk team needs to deliver high-quality financial, product, and competitive analysis across various business segments to enhance pricing strategy, profitability, and market positioning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, product management, or a related role, ideally within the automotive or F&I sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Experience with SQL required.
- Familiarity with at least one statistical or programming language preferred (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SAS).
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze premium, claims, and operational data to support risk assessment, pricing, and profitability strategies.
- Assist in the development, launch, and refinement of Sonsio’s F&I products through performance analysis and market research.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to evaluate trends, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
- Translate large datasets into actionable insights that support better decision-making.
- Learn and apply pricing, actuarial, and product development methods to support internal recommendations.
- Support pricing strategy through rate development, claim forecasting, and profitability modeling at the contract, dealer, and program level.
- Monitor performance of new and existing programs, flagging risks or trends as needed.
Other
- Support F&I sales efforts with customized reporting, program insights, and dealer-level recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal partners in Sales, Operations, and Risk to improve efficiency, data accuracy, and reporting tools.
- Prepare clear and actionable reports and presentations for senior leadership and field teams.
- Assist in cross functional projects that enhance dealer engagement and sales performance.
- Respond to field inquiries and support alignment between product offerings and dealer needs.
