Sonsio Vehicle Protection is looking to solve the challenge of providing high-quality financial, product, and competitive analysis across various business segments to support its risk team and improve customer acquisition and retention, and increase profitability.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL required.
- Familiarity with at least one statistical or programming language preferred (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SAS).
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Knowledge of F&I products and industry practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, product management, or a related role, ideally within the automotive or F&I sector.
Responsibilities
- Support F&I sales efforts with customized reporting, program insights, and dealer-level recommendations.
- Analyze premium, claims, and operational data to support risk assessment, pricing, and profitability strategies.
- Assist in the development, launch, and refinement of Sonsio’s F&I products through performance analysis and market research.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to evaluate trends, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
- Translate large datasets into actionable insights that support better decision-making.
- Learn and apply pricing, actuarial, and product development methods to support internal recommendations.
- Support pricing strategy through rate development, claim forecasting, and profitability modeling at the contract, dealer, and program level.

- Bachelor or Associates degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Automotive Management, or a related field — or equivalent work experience in the automotive, insurance, or F&I industry.
- Travel as required (<10%).
- Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
- Sitting for long periods of time.
- Pass a pre-employment background check, drug screening before beginning work.
