The Salesforce Configuration Analyst is responsible for design, development, configuration, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce application functionality to aid University Advancement in meeting its goals.

Requirements

  • Analyzing Business Processes And Data (4 Years)
  • Advanced technical knowledge of application systems and analysis, as well as industry best practices.
  • Ability to research and implement new technologies in specialty or related areas.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, or Salesforce Administrator.
  • Relevant technology experience including Salesforce declarative development.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce declarative development.
  • Understanding of best practices in Salesforce development and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, monitor, maintain, test and debug declarative development.
  • Analyze and document existing processes as they relate to information technology solutions.
  • Support complex operational activities and recoveries.
  • Troubleshoot escalated bugs and provide fixes.
  • Assist as needed with researching and evaluating new technology, products, specialized hardware and tools to optimize development and functionality of applications.
  • Make recommendations to management and customers.
  • Conduct QA on completed work according to documented acceptance criteria.

Other

  • Review business requirements and ask thoughtful questions to ensure the right solution.
  • Assist with resolving tickets and providing feedback about additional analysis needed or questions that must be answered prior to work.
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies and provide input to the pointing process and retrospectives.
  • Follow established change management processes.
  • Participate in development reviews and adhere to development standards.
