Veracyte is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join their development team to develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications, integrate Salesforce with external systems, and contribute to best practices in development, testing, and deployment to support their mission of transforming cancer care.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning) through coursework, internships, or junior roles.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway).
- Experience working with Salesforce APIs and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Basic understanding of Salesforce configuration tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and QA teams to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, AWS services, etc.).
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to best practices around development, testing, and deployment (CI/CD).
- Stay current with Salesforce platform features and releases.
- Work with Salesforce Admins and other developers on projects as well as support
Other
- 1-4 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Hybrid role based out of San Diego office or remote candidates in PST time zone.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
