FirstDay Foundation is looking to hire a Salesforce Developer to develop and customize Salesforce applications to meet the specific needs of their organization, aligning with business objectives and potentially supporting their mission.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Administrator are highly desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and design patterns.
- Strong familiarity with Salesforce Data model and security.
- Experience with Experience Cloud or Non-Profit Cloud is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom Salesforce applications and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Customize Salesforce fields, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Salesforce platform.
- Implement best practices for Salesforce development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.; or relevant verifiable work experience.
- Salesforce Application Architect OR Salesforce System Architect certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
