Booz Allen is looking for a Salesforce Developer to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts, advise clients on adopting new technologies or adding new features, and protect crucial systems while watching them grow and modernize.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce platform development, including Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce pages, and Aura Components or Lightning Web Components
- Experience with OmniStudio or Public Sector Solutions (PSS)
- Experience committing code and metadata to Git repositories
- Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
- Experience with federal government or healthcare IT
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps technologies and tools, including GitHub, Copado, Salesforce DX, and Flosum
Responsibilities
- work closely with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements in a variety of industry contexts.
- work in all aspects of the Salesforce development lifecycle, including configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and third-party integrations.
- apply extensive experience developing on the Salesforce platform following best practices and utilizing Salesforce declarative capabilities where appropriate.
- build positive relationships with other team members
- write clean, maintainable Apex code while keeping governor limits in mind
- experience with web development technologies like Lightning Web Components
- knowledge of the Salesforce platform’s declarative capabilities

- serve as an advisor to our clients and provide guidance regarding how they might adopt new technologies or add new features to support the mission.
- advise our government clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems.
