Carnegie Mellon University is looking to solve the problem of designing, developing, and delivering new software platforms and system functionality enhancements for the University Advancement marketing team and related University partners.
Requirements
- hands-on design, prototyping, development, configuration, and testing
- SQL Master
- implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side Java Script (SSJS)
- building websites using SFMC CloudPages
- web service integration (REST/SOAP)
- managing system updates through version control software, such as Git
- documenting and reporting status of technical builds
Responsibilities
- leading software requirement and development efforts for the Department’s marketing team, including translating the marketing platform vision into an aligned technical/software solution
- managing the software development and technical enhancement of the SFMC platform tool
- performing SQL based query software development, data management, and technology optimization
- building custom platform reporting and data exports
- creating dynamic and complex software scripting solutions
- conducting software testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance measures
- maintaining technical knowledge of the SFMC platform and advising the Department with respect to the same
Other
- Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Network and Communications Management, or another directly related technical field
- three (3) years of experience in the Marketing Automation Administration field
- ability to telecommute with appropriate telecommuting systems
- Must be able to work from anywhere in the United States
