FlightSafety International is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and identify improvements for software framework solutions, specifically within an SAP ECC R3 environment, to support their strategic direction and growth in aviation training.
Requirements
- Advanced experience in SAP ECC R3 configuration and ABAP programming
- Solid experience with SAP S4 Hana, BTP, BDC, GRC, SAP Cloud Connector
- Experience with SAP Payroll, Successfactors, Fieldglass, Concur is a plus
- Upgrade from ECC R3 to S/4 Hana experience strongly preferred
- Experience in implementing best practices within the SAP business process framework
- Advanced knowledge and experience in the entire software development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation for various development platforms
- Understanding of the Agile work methodology
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop product specification, system design, development, and system integration for new and existing software applications
- Provide application support for an SAP ECC R3 environment consisting of AP, AR, FI, CoPa, MM, PO
- Monitor, configure, and improve integration with SAP
- Enter and track time, tasks using Azure Development Ops
- Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies
- Consult with users on problem determination and provide root cause analysis in a timely manner
- Mentor other team members, providing feedback and guidance when needed
Other
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience
- 7+ years of experience in SAP software development and support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Travel when required
