SAP is looking to further develop its official broadcast platform, a web app that provides leaders with capabilities to consistently reach a broad audience through live streaming and video on-demand, and is seeking an intern to contribute to this effort
Requirements
- Proficient in JavaScript
- Experience with JavaScript UI Frameworks such as Vue, UI5
- Capable writing secure REST APIs (Express / Fastify)
- Containerization (Docker / containerd)
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux terminal (i.e. bash, zsh)
- Experience with OWASP Standards
- Knowledge of Node.js, Nest.js, video.js, Cypress/Jest, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Figma
Responsibilities
- Optimization of the broadcast platform by implementing feature requests and bug patching
- Infrastructure, analytics, quality assurance, front end design, and more
- Design and write high-quality code with security and data privacy considerations as a foundation
- Contribute to re-writing older code using modern frameworks
- Implement feature requests and bug patching

Other
- Currently enrolled in a computer science or software engineering related field
- Team oriented mindset
- Proficiency working in the English language is a must, German, Mandarin, Spanish language skills are a bonus
