SAP is looking to enhance its globalization automation strategy by improving developer productivity, reducing manual effort in content engineering, and increasing the reliability and scalability of services running on SAP BTP. The goal is to accelerate the delivery of compliant, localized software to customers worldwide.
Requirements
- Python, Java, JavaScript
- SAP BTP development (Cloud Foundry, CAP, OData services)
- Databases & SQL schema design
- CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, automated testing
- AI/ML foundations including embeddings, generative AI, LLM-driven automation
- Knowledge Graph technologies (RDF, SPARQL, triple stores)
- Hands-on experience with at least one of: Python, Java, or JavaScript
Responsibilities
- Implementing high-quality, maintainable code in Python, Java, and/or JavaScript, aligned with our cloud-native architecture
- Building backend and frontend components that integrate with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and AI/ML services
- Contributing to SAP’s internal Knowledge Graph (RDF/SPARQL), helping build intelligent automation capabilities
- Supporting database schema design, data ingestion pipelines, and integration workflows across multiple SAP systems
- Participating in unit testing, debugging, CI/CD pipelines, and pair programming with senior engineers
- Delivery of production-grade features or components.
- Measurable contribution to at least one end-to-end workflow (API integration, KG query, UI element, or AI processing step)
Other
- Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with SQL and database design principles
- Exposure to Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
