Owens Corning Glass Reinforcements is undergoing an acquisition and separation from Owens Corning, requiring the establishment of a new IT infrastructure and applications. This role is critical in ensuring SAP systems are supported with accurate, consistent, and reliable master data to drive business processes efficiently during this transition and beyond, building a robust data foundation for business growth and transformation.
Requirements
- Experience with SAP S/4 Cloud migration and greenfield deployment projects.
- Experience with data governance frameworks, harmonization, transformation projects.
- Proven expertise in data domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, BOM, Routing, Product Hierarchy, etc…).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data profiling tools.
- Knowledge and experience with data tools employing AI technology to drive quality and productivity is a plus.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management and governance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain master data in SAP across key domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.).
- Oversee data creation, updates, deletions, and validations to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Implement processes for data quality monitoring and cleansing.
- Proactively identify and resolve data issues, duplicates, or inconsistencies.
- Support the design and execution of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) workflows.
- Establish approval, validation, and change control processes for master data.
- Collaborate with IT and business partners to support data migration and transformation projects.
Other
- Manage and maintain master data in SAP across key domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with established data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure master data aligns with operational needs.
- Work closely with finance, supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely master data availability.
- Provide training and guidance to business users on master data processes and tools.
- Maintain clear documentation of master data processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance to end-users on correct master data request practices.
- Own IT service delivery for assigned manufacturing sites, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring operational excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver IT services aligned with business needs during organizational transitions, including separation activities.
- Ensure manufacturing connectivity and data flow across enterprise systems, enabling efficient production and supply chain processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functional environment
- Potential 20% travel time required.
- Due to the team structure, virtual meeting formats, time zone differences, and appropriate meeting times, extended work hours may be required.
