Pratt & Whitney is seeking a SAP Sales & Distribution (ShipERP) Functional Lead to support strategic enterprise initiatives, troubleshoot complex issues, and make recommendations for landscape improvements to enhance the reliability and accuracy of existing solutions within their Sales and Distribution team.
Requirements
- High level of experience and expertise with SAP S&D and ShipERP in both version 11 and E4H environments.
- Ability to design business solutions in SAP S&D and ShipERP, troubleshoot technical issues.
- SAP S&D and ShipERP Configuration experience.
- Strong technical experience working in a complex SAP landscape, specifically S4 and SAP S&D.
- Prior experience as an ABAP developer or debugging is a plus.
- Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge.
- Expert interpreting functional requirements and translating those requirements into application code that meets the business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic enterprise initiatives including requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, and support of Pratt & Whitney SAP Sales & Distribution (ShipERP) system.
- Engage directly with Business resources in Operations to understand customer requirements, identify and develop solutions that meet or exceed customers’ expectations.
- Leverage a strong technical background to troubleshoot complex issues and make recommendations for strategic changes to our landscape to improve the reliability and accuracy of existing solutions.
- Collaborate with a cross functional DT team to develop and execute DT solutions and collaboration with 3rd party software and outsourcing partners as required.
- Work in cross functional teams to provide seamless integration between SAP Sales & Distribution, Ship ERP and other enterprise level applications.
- Work with Business Analysts, business stakeholders and other functional areas to define process solutions and enhancements for SAP Sales and Distribution and ShipERP functionality with a focus on streamlining business processes and operations.
- Interact with and manage 3rd party suppliers (ex. ShipERP) to deliver high performing SAP integrated solutions.

- The ability to architect a SAP Sales & Distribution/ShipERP solutions for the business that meets or exceeds the defined business requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve application performance, quality, and reliability.
