SAP is looking for undergraduate students to join their Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program with a Development Focus to gain hands-on experience and develop innovative IT solutions, ultimately preparing them for full-time employment within SAP or its ecosystem.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with a Computer Science major or related field of study at a university local to the Philadelphia area
Responsibilities
- STAR students first receive a full range of formal trainings on SAP’s core technology stack and soft skills, prior to entering their specific department.
- Students are expected to commit to full-time employment when on break from their university and part-time during their academic terms (10 hours per week minimum during part-time).
- In your rotations you will be provided with a broad overview of SAP's products, processes, and technologies.
- During the program, you will gain business acumen and technical expertise through hands-on experience, while developing innovative IT solutions to address real-world challenges that will prepare you for a bright future at SAP.
- You can join many different SAP teams, whether business-related or technical.
- Past students have had rotations in our Center of Expertise, Cloud Transformation, Customer Success, Innovation & Development, Cloud Infrastructure teams and more.

- Interested in pursuing a long-term internship schedule with full-time hours while on summer break and/or co-op, as well as part-time hours during the academic year
- Adaptable, proactive, curious and willing to learn
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Excellent communicators in English (additional languages a plus)
- Ability to work both remote and in the SAP Newtown Square office in a hybrid capacity
- If you require work authorization, you must be able to secure OPT or Pre-OPT to work during your school terms
- If you are considering a study abroad program, you must provide written documentation that you are eligible to work during the program
