Air Liquide is looking to optimize its supply network and provide high reliability and energy efficiencies by deploying a new GeoSCADA system and replacing the existing SCADA solution, which requires a SCADA Product Expert to manage the support of the GeoSCADA system and work closely with the Operations Control Center business owners.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with ClearSCADA/GeoSCADA product suite
- Expert in ClearSCADA and/or GeoSCADA applications
- Demonstrated understanding of SQL Database operation
- Knowledge of pipeline field instrumentation, communication with distributed control systems and networking hardware.
- Preference to candidates that have Microsoft certification, OR other applicable certifications
- Working knowledge of the Google Suite of office tools
- Strong knowledge of Pipeline Operations, processes and SCADA applications
Responsibilities
- Deploy resources to communicate with DCS, RTUs, and PLCs into GeoSCADA.
- Support control room regulatory requirements for HMI screen development, alarm management, change management, and Point-to-Point, in compliance with PHMSA & CRM, as applicable.
- Acts as the liaison between end users and IT technical teams (Security, Infrastructure, Applications, etc.).
- Works with the technical teams in the execution and design of application enhancements and digital projects related to, or interfacing with, GeoSCADA.
- Facilitate decision making and arbitration relating to trade-offs both within and between GeoSCADA and other applications (ex. Billing, OSI PI)
- Install new software releases, patches & program fixes for the pipeline SCADA system
- Configuration & management of the GeoSCADA system tag, alarm, and script database.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline required
- 10+ years experience in: Pipeline Operations, IT, or SCADA operations/applications
- Customer-oriented and service-driven: Precisely answers customer requests, is attentive to customers and initiates new ideas in order to meet customer expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Gets to know others and forms relationships, maintains very good relationships with colleagues, respects the ideas and opinions of others.
