Corteva Agriscience is looking to support compute platforms used throughout R&D, including developing high-level data strategies, supporting cloud and on-premise computing, advising and enforcing application security, providing internal tools to developers, and validating software systems.
Requirements
- Good in-depth understanding of an operating system, either Windows or Linux
- Experience in AWS cloud services
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience with GitLab or git in general
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or containerization
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, including authentication, authorization, and application security
Responsibilities
- Work with the Scientific Compute Platform team to support researchers and data scientists
- Root-cause and resolve end-user issues as they arise
- Monitor and analyze Kubernetes cluster efficiency and propose methods of improvement
- Examine, test, and recommend tools for advanced cluster management, monitoring, alerting, and orchestration
- Work with data scientists to improve the end-user experience
