Bristol Myers Squibb is looking to apply AI/ML methods to drive the development of groundbreaking therapies, specifically focusing on automating and analyzing machine learning models for seamless execution on closed-loop systems to originate novel therapeutics for their pipeline.
Requirements
- Strong experience with modern deep learning methods; preferably with demonstrated application of models in the areas of active learning , synthesis planning, or generative methods
- Expertise in scientific programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and machine learning libraries ( e.g., PyTorch , Tensorflow )
- Proficiency in chemistry toolkits ( eg : rdkit , OEChem , S chrodinger)
- Familiarity with cloud-based computing and Linux HPC environments
- Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues to develop implementations and apply machine learning techniques
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply deep learning and optimization methods to to automate the design-make-test (DMT) cycle
- Establish workflows to accelerate hit discovery through active learning -guided synthesis and screening
- Integrate and implement approaches t hat enable closed-loop discovery cycles in c ollaborat ion with biologists, chemists, and modelers
- Contribute to the principled exploration of novel therapeutic modalities and their application to research portfolio
- Effectively c ommunicate methods, results, and recommendations in multiple settings such as team and project meetings , seminars , academic conference, and journal publications
- Educate and mentor scientists across the organization on AI/ML methods

- Ph.D. OR Ma ster's Degree w ith 3+ years of academic / industry experience, OR Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of academic / industry experience .
- Ph.D. OR Master's Degree with 3+ years of academic / industry experience in the field of informatics and machine learning
