Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Security Data Analyst Intern to contribute to their mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by analyzing security data.
Requirements
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with security concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages is a plus.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze security data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential threats.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize security metrics.
- Assist in the investigation of security incidents.
- Collaborate with security teams to understand data needs and requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of security data collection and analysis processes.
- Perform data quality checks and ensure data integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends.
