Peraton is looking to solve complex security dataset problems by bringing clarity, insight, and advanced analytics to shape the future of data security
Requirements
- Knowledge of Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, and analysis of data syntax and semantics
- Experience with advanced algorithms and data models
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity Service Provider functions and responsibilities
- Ability to analyze data structures and data objects
- Experience with semantic and syntactic information embedded in complex data structures and objects
- Knowledge of syntactic and semantic interoperability
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate existing IT-related security data to uncover hidden patterns, risks, and insights.
- Identify and document the types of data currently being monitored — and just as critically — highlight the gaps where visibility is lacking.
- Develop and implement best practices for analyzing semantic and syntactic information embedded in complex data structures and objects.
- Design and apply measures of syntactic and semantic interoperability that inform high-level architectural and implementation decisions made by governing bodies.
- Prototype, evaluate, and select advanced algorithms to build data models that meet defined security objectives.
- Deliver clear, impactful reporting that distills technical data into actionable, data-driven intelligence for stakeholders.
