InfoDefense is seeking interns to gain industry experience in the latest security methods and technology to assist the Security Engineering team with practical tasks and provide business and technical exposure in core elements of the cybersecurity service delivery discipline.
Requirements
- exposure to core information security functions including network and application vulnerability testing, role-based access control (RBAC), security information and event management, and computer incident management
- proficient in Linux
- strong background in networking
- exposure to three or more the following security technologies: Linux Bash and Python Scripting, Networking, Microsoft Windows (including Active Directory), Docker/Kubernetes (preferred), Firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and malware protection technology, Network vulnerability testing, Encryption Technologies such as IPSEC and SSL, Network+, CCNA, or Security+ certification (preferred)
- Linux Bash and Python Scripting
- Networking
- Microsoft Windows (including Active Directory)

- seeking an Associates, Bachelor, or master's degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, or a related discipline
- devote approximately 24 hours per week
