Requirements
- 8 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
- 3 years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
- Experience in people management.
- 8 years of experience in Access Management (preferred).
- Recognized expert in at least two security domains.
- Experience with security risk posture management and hardening critical services through continuous assessment and automated remediation.
- Experience with expanding and improving Google's security risk posture management to harden critical services through continuous assessment and automated remediation.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of software engineers and security engineers, and create a safe environment that enables them to grow.
- Develop and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, career development and coaching engineers.
- Drive the execution and delivery of engineering outcomes from their team, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to launch high-quality solutions in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the overall goal, strategy and execution for reducing the production infrastructure access abuse risks at Google.
- Contribute to the overall goal, strategy and execution for Google's internal access security as the leader of the security research team at PRISM.
- Deploy comprehensive measures to ensure access is understood and protected, including enforcing security invariants to prevent future regressions.
- Work directly with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions.
