Squarespace is looking to enhance customer security while minimizing friction by leading a newly defined Security team focused on Customer Security advocacy and managing the abuse pipeline.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and cloud platforms (AWS & GCP).
- Experience with automation tools for handling intake complaints and concerns from customers.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001.
- Knowledge of software development, design, and proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, Node, or Go.
- 1+ years of experience with domain or website abuse processes.
Responsibilities
- Proactively collaborate with all teams handling abuse to define a decision matrix for when to suspend an account, product, or engage in discussions with our customers.
- Develop automation with 'human in the loop' processes to assign a risk score to each abuse complaint and take appropriate actions.
- Work with Product Managers on authentication and authorization strategies that minimize friction while enhancing customer security on our platform and products.
- Track, document, and report abuse metrics.
- Define, collect, and analyze security KPIs and KRIs for the customer security organization.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years experience leading a team in cybersecurity, with a strong enthusiasm for Authentication and Authorization.
- Adept at working collaboratively with stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
