Siemens Industry, Inc. is looking to solve the problem of ensuring customers can work in a comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environment by designing and implementing smart building solutions, specifically focusing on Security Systems such as CCTV Cameras and door readers.
Requirements
- Technical aptitude and passion for problem solving
- Hands-on experience with Security Systems, electronic control systems, and other smart building technologies
- Real-world skills and valuable knowledge in the field of smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure
- Ability to learn and work with advanced Security Systems in commercial buildings
- Familiarity with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of Security Systems and electronic control systems
- Basic understanding of system operations and ability to provide training to customers
- Ability to work with engineering and project management teams to resolve technical issues
Responsibilities
- Spend most of time on job sites with experienced Siemens technicians, learning how to install, program, and service advanced Security Systems in commercial buildings.
- Take part in on-the-job training, job shadowing, troubleshooting, and classroom instruction.
- Work alongside experienced technicians to visit customer sites and troubleshoot Security Systems, and electronic control systems.
- Assist in diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and repairs, or supporting new installations and system commissioning.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve any discrepancies in system drawings or address challenges encountered on the job.
- Interface directly with customers: document service activities, help explain system operations, and provide basic training to ensure smooth hand-off.
- Rotate through service and project delivery teams to understand how customer needs are supported from installation to long-term maintenance and upgrades.
