L3Harris Technologies is seeking to solve the problem of developing and producing infrared focal plane arrays made with III-V semiconductor wafers, and is looking for a Semiconductor Development Engineering Manager to drive innovative detector architectures and harmonize processes to support the development of next generation products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences and 9+ years engineering experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing.
- Graduate Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences and 7+ years engineering experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing.
- In lieu of a degree, 13+ years engineering experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing.
- Experience with wafer processing and semiconductor equipment
- A strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication techniques and an understanding of problem-solving tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of policies and processes to meet business goals, including site specific design guidelines and standard work instruction.
- Provide technical support and leadership to FPA development engineers
- Facilitate the cross-pollination of best practices and drive process harmonization.
- Lead the development of control plans with the process engineers
- Drive the metric adoption throughout the design cycle to track design and device performance.
- Work in a cross functional team and with upper management to develop detailed project plans to ensure technical performance, schedule, and cost requirements are met for all key projects
- Define and measure KPI’s and report on performance against organizational goals for yield and process capability
